Women's BJJ Program
Historically, it was frowned on for women to practice martial arts. However, women warriors have consistently broken down the barriers to prove their stamina to their male counterparts.
Because of the many crimes that are committed against women—domestic violence, rape, sexual harassment and physical abuse—many martial arts schools promote the self defense aspect of BJJ classes specifically for women. Unlike most self defense systems that rely heavily on strength, speed, and coordination, the techniques in BJJ employ leverage, technique, and timing, so anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, can make them work against larger opponents.
We strive to create an exciting learning environment for women to learn the basic, fundamental, and advanced techniques of BJJ and to inspire more women to train jiu jitsu.
